Registry Cleaning
PC computer registry functions as a single database structure connecting various software applications and hardware devices to your Windows OS. Issues arise when this registry becomes too cluttered and/or corrupted. The term “registry cleaning” refers to the process of removing unnecessary registry entries and other remnants of past applications /devices that have since been uninstalled – this can be a PC game or picture editing program that you deleted from your hard drive or perhaps an old printer you used in the past.

For most part, all the software and hardware that is installed on your computer has a registry entry or even multiple entries. Once you remove these the corresponding registry entry is supposed to be removed as well. Unfortunately, this does not happen always. So as you use your computer, your registry fills with more and more obsolete entries. This makes your registry bloated and you computer becomes inefficient.
This inefficiency comes from the fact that your computer is under assumption that all the peripherals and apps listed in the registry still exist. As a consequence, CPU becomes overloaded with all this information and takes longer time to execute system commands – in other words, computer slows down considerably.
Cleaning your registry will solve this issue. You can manually go through your registry and simply delete outdated registry keys and references (Note: if you decide to do this be careful not to delete references to system files and/or existing active programs and devices). Alternative to the manual registry cleaning is using an application that does this work for you (i.e. Registry Cleaner tool).
